Dun
Conor - Dún Chonchúir: which
is directly across the road from An Dún B&B, is a very interesting
pre-christian oval stone fort. It is very well preserved and because of it's high
point on the island there are wonderful panoramic views.
Dún
Fearbhaí: is a smaller fort located on the east side of the
island.
Teach Synge:
(Teach Synge) is located next door to An Dún B&B, it is the
house where John Millington Synge lived during his stay on the island. It is a
museum and open to the public during the tourist season.
Inis
Meáin Knitwear: Unique and traditional designer knitware are
produced here and exported to the fashion capitals of the world.
Aran Islands Dive Centre: P.A.D.I. dive centre
. Clear waters teaming with marine life. Worm holes, caves, coral reefs as is
